Colors

You probably know that we have a color wheel that mimics our chakra system. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. The colors referenced are in chakra order, from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. What I recently learned is how the colors we are attracted to may indicate that you need to give a little extra attention to that corresponding chakra.

For example, last week I was attracted to the color blue for my nails and toes. I have never used that color nail polish. But it just felt right and I loved how it looked. Well it turned out that I had a lot of words that I needed to say, confidently and direct. “Say what I mean and mean what I say” spoken through words of love. That is the focus of the throat chakra, which happens to be recognized as the color blue. It was such a blessing to receive the message and to get perfect support, at the perfect time.

Today, my color is yellow. That is linked to my solar plexus chakra. I am doing a lot of thinking and discussing about who I am and what I want to manifest within these next two years. It’s connected to my identity. My true self and how I want to show up in the world. I found this beautiful yellow polish and I know it will help strengthen me and ground me in my truth.
